There is nothing so good for the inside of a man as the outside of a horse. ~John Lubbock, "Recreation," The Use of Life, 1894

About Our Workshops
Our workshops are designed for riders ages 6-15 ranging in skill sets from no experience to intermediate level riders. Each workshop is catered to the individual students that are in attendance, so we can tone down or tone up the level of riding to suit the needs of each child. Every day of the week (Tuesday to Friday) we have theme set for the day and the program curriculum supports the theme.

This program is very different than a camp in the sense that there is no commitment beyond the three hours. Your child can attend one workshop or ten, there is no minimum or maximum. Workshops are significantly smaller than our camps with 3-6 students per day.  They learn how to lead, groom, saddle and ride their horses each day - not to mention we do other various fun activities that help everyone learn about our wonderful horses. Although the daily schedule is nearly identical for each workshop, we do have set themes for every day of the week which are taught through fun activities we do with the group of students in attendance.
Workshop Schedule & Cost
$150/day per student
$75/day per working student

All payments are per person and non-refundable, however, they are transferable to any of our other services (excluding camps).

New Decade, New Program! New in 2020 is our daily workshop program! Our workshops are offered from 9am to 12pm Tuesday to Friday, intended for riders 6-15 years old (no experience required) and can accommodate up to six students per day. They are a great option for your kiddo who needs something to do on their school breaks without the commitment or cost of a full camp! Each day of the week has a distinct theme and our activities are designed to incorporate each day's particular theme. Students spend their time learning about horses on the ground, how to groom, saddle and, of course, they have plenty of riding time! Our workshops are affordable, fun and a perfect way to give your child some time outdoors with our amazing horses and instructors.

Working Student Options
These daily workshops are intended for beginner/intermediate riders
ages 6-15, however there is an option for our older working students to participate and ride in this program! If your child has been approved by Lindsay to be one of our working students then they are eligible to participate in the workshops for Half Price! They will help the younger and more inexperience riders get their horses ready and ride. Our working students will be able to participate in all activities that the others enjoy and get the same amount of riding time.

Please note that there are only THREE participation spots for a working student per day, however they are welcome to volunteer and spend their time helping and learning in this great environment. In order to be approved for our working student program, your child must be 11+ years old, be able to retrieve, groom and saddle any horse without any assistance from an instructor. They also need to be able to ride at the walk, trot and lope on any of our horses. Typically, this takes 3+ years of consistent riding lessons to get to this point.
